History of PID
Endometriosis
IUD use past and present
Previous ectopic pregnancy
Adnexal mass
SYMPTOMS - vaginal bleeding ,
Amennorhea , abdominal pain , adnexal fullness , symptoms of shock .
CLASSIFICATION -
1) According to localization -
- Tubal ( isthmic, interstitial , ampula)
- ovarian
- abdominal
- cervical
- broad
2) According to clinical duration-
- Progressive
- Ruptured ( tubal rupture , tubal abortion)
DIAGNOSIS-
-Bhcg levels
- ultrasound
- laparoscopy
TREATMENT-
try to save fallopian tube( goal of treatment)
To be conservative
- surgical ( laparoscopy)
- medical ( methotrexate )
Follow bhcg level
